Hi,

I want a seamless registration process, and was suggested to setup the registration process like this: 

Allow automatic user creation YES
User login position BEFORE
Custom registration NO
Generate user account when completing an order NO

But when i use this procedure i have the following issue: After the upload of the logo image the user are presented the login screen. This breaks the registration process and i cannot have this.

How can i setup the registration process without the user having to login?

I just went through your entire process to select a listing package.

Yes, I confirm, the last step requires you to log on.

It also has a link to register.

 

Try to change the following setting to YES:

   - Generate user account when completing an order

Here are the JBD Document Instructions:

User Settings


Allow automatic user creation: you can set whether you want to allow user creation during the creation of a business listing.

User login position: require the user login/registration , before/after listing creation

Custom registration: a custom user registration mechanism will be activated, that will not break the user flow. The user is automatically confirmed in Joomla and he will have to confirm only the mail address to make sure all email are received on the correct email address.

Generate user account when completing an order: when the order is created, the user can choose to complete the order as a guest or the system can generate an account for him

appreciate you getting back to me. 

I just changed the "Generate user account when completing an order" to Yes but it gives the same result.

Any other suggestions cause i dont get how this works. I need a seamless registration without login. 

Make sure to clear your caches: Joomla, Browser, Hosting, router, etc.

If that does not work, I suggest opening a ticket.

Maybe, someone else knows.

If you open a ticket, please update this ticket as I have the same setup as you.

Unfortunately it dont help, its still the same. 

I have opened a ticket weeks ago, but no answer. I have tried to ask again, but still no answer. So this is not good from a customer perspective. 

They will get to you.

They are probably just testing everything.

Sometimes they don't answer your ticket but may add the bug fix on the next update.

There are always other things to do.

There are always things to do, but that dont mean you just can stop answer your clients. It takes 2 seconds to give a short notice. With that said i also think that 3++ weeks are way to long time to wait for help, we also have businesses that rely on this getting fixed.  

This is a live site and i have companies are waiting to register, and i cannot make any business of this when the most important function are not working properly. 

Have you escalate this? There is a option for that to remind the support guys that it need more attention faster...

Nowadays, it is pretty standard to generate a user's account while ordering anything online.

However, it definitely should not interfere with Joomla's standard registration system.
