J-BusinessDirectory - Does a business user in the registered group get access to an Editor?

Support Forum

Using J-Business-Directory 3.6.4.  Using Template built on T3 framework.

When logged on as the super admin while editing buisiness info I am presented with the editor (in my case it's JCE) for the Business Description field. As a registered Business User the field does not offer the option of using an editor. In fact, it specifically states "Html code is not accepted!".    That means that the Business User has no control over how their business page looks.

Am I correct that the Editor funtion is not available to registered Business Users?  Do you forsee adding that option in the future?

Thanks

Hi,

The editor is set deepening on package configuration. There is an html description feature on package level.

If this is working only for admin then it has to do with editor settings and privileges and it's not controlled in the directory extension.

Hello there. Just go to JCE Administration, Editor Profiles, select your Frontpage profile (usually default), scroll down to User Group and select Registered. Most likely you would need to select Public to allow users to create a new listing.
