J-BusinessDirectory - Email Notification

Hi,

Please could you please tell why aadmin recieves "New Business Listing " Notification email Even when a User update his Exisiting Avitive listing Description?

Why is it so?

This would be like a new listing while its just an edit of the existing Listing. I think an email of status update should be sent rather than same email template that is mainly for New Business Listing.

FYI: You have a version (4.2.0) that is not yet release on the market and some issues may appear.

In file {joomla}/administrator/components/com_businessdirectory/models/company.php search for

if(!$isNew && empty($data["no-email"])){

and replace it with

if($isNew && empty($data["no-email"])){

Alright.

So if this is replaced, What would be the implication?

The Admin does not get notification for User editing his Listing? or what?
