J-BusinessDirectory - Google Vs Openmap

Has anyone recently switched from google maps to open maps. If so are there settings that need to be adjusted?

I ask because when entering business information via the autocompletion on google maps the "region" stores the state and "province" stores the county.

However, when using the autocomplete with openmaps the "region" stores the county while the "province" stores the state.

Also when using the get directions link with open maps seem to just open somewhere in Russia as opposed to the united states where most of the people use my directory.

Any tips to having openmaps perform more like google maps?

I would use OpenStreetMap bcs using Google maps is expensive rip you off in the long run if you will have some more users in the future for your system. Just do the calculation :)

I have not had any problem like you describe and you should open a ticket for that. Will check too if this is a problem for our directory.
