J-BusinessDirectory - How does company editors work?

I'm trying to figure out how company editors work.

1. Does the editor need a JBusiness Account, or can they be a Joomla user?
2. Do they have to be on the business team they are editing?
3. Which menu do they use to edit? Do they edit from their own business dashboard or control panel?
