J-BusinessDirectory - Missing JDirectoryCategories View

Thanks for the update. I installed it today and as soon as I did, I lost my categories view. I went through all of the settings and made sure nothing was missing and hit save under each part of the general settings and still no sucess.

I tried actually selecting a listing and noticed nothing is showing. They are in there and showing how many are there but the listings are not showing. Please help.

Ok... I think I figured out how to make the categories show, its not default so you have to go in and check off each of the categories to make them display.

So, I got them to show up but now I still have an issue on the site. It looks like the new Grid works but the default list feature is not working properly and the businesses are not listing.... If you click grid they do, but does not show up as list. This is very important because some may not know whats wrong and assume there is no data.

Yes, for categories you have to enable the ones that you want to be shown on front-end from admin area.

We will check the second problem and get back to you. (it will be usefull if you can provide us admin access).

We have found the problem. We will need ftp access to fix it.

Im sorry, For security purposes I cant allow someone FTP access to the site. What can be done to fix it and I will try to fix it.

Is there a file I can update?

Also, when I click on the businesses link, it comes up with a blank page. something is also wrong in that area. You cant access any info on the business

The problem related to company listings has been fixed.

The problem abou company details view is generated by another component that uses the same naming for a table generating a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class TableEvent in /home1/texasare/public_html/administrator/components/com_dtregister/models/event.php on line 225

In order to avoid this conflict we can change our table prefix but it will take some time.
