J-BusinessDirectory - Questions regarding Stripe Subscription and Trails

I am having a few issues with setting up trials with the Stripe Subscription Payment Gateway and trials.

1. If I Set trials to $0 strip will not process because Stripe has a minimum charge.
2. If I set the trial to $1 Strip will process and start the subscription, however, the $1 trial or whatever you want to charge for the trial is not charged... The customer is not charged the trial but the subscription is made and the full amount will be charged the next month.
3. Stripe does have an option in their setup to check a box for Free trial but that's it free only and it will not charge the first payment and then start so many days after and it wont work with the JBusinessDirectotry "trail settings".

Is anyone else have this?

Or am I just doing something wrong?

Create a support ticket and pls also update how this go and what solution worked for you pls.

The official word from my support ticket is that there is currently no way to do a "paid for trail" with Stripe.

Only free trials work with Stripe you will have to use the Authorize.net solution if you want paid trials. It's a better processor anyways if you are already making enough money to afford the $30 a month vs free for Stripe. Authorize has fewer transactional fees than Stripe though. Here is the kicker if you plan on doing a paid for trail or a free trial you can only use 1 processor because they will conflict with each other's settings. You can only use multiple payment processors if you have a flat-rate pricing structure if that's the best way to describe it.

To achieve the free trial with STRIPE you will have to turn off the Trail Settings in JBD. Then in Stripe you check the BOX for FREE TRAIL and set the number of days you want to give them before you charge the full amount for whatever reassurance setting you set.

Also note that if you do use the STRIP as FREE TRIAL you will have to set package settings as:

Show features: No

And then you need to write custom HTML under "Price description" otherwise it will not display the correct "Promotional Text" under the price.

Thanks for update and info! I have problem now moving setting up a new server with JBD that have problem so have to wait to test all this live when it comes up but will be in 1-3 weeks unfortunately.
