J-BusinessDirectory - Updating subcategory name in listings search module

Hi,

We are trying to update the language for the subcategory filter dropdown in the listings search module when you have the setting set to 'seperate' the parent main and subcategories. Currently, whatever language is used for the parent category (LNG_ALL_CATEGORIES) field when no category is selected (value=0) is also used in the subcategory field when no subcategory is selected.

To make it easier to understand for the end user, we would like to change the language to say 'Subcategory' instead for the subcategory filter. I have tried editing  /templates/jm-commune-offices/html/mod_jbusiness_listings_search to add a language and <option value="0"> etc etc line for the subcategory section but have failed to correctly write the code (novice here). 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, I do not have the answer to your questions.

However, can you test something for me?

Can you use the MS Edge browser on the page with the Search module and tell me if the page crashes?

I think you are referring to the Search module in your above post.

I have tested the listings Search module on MS Edge browser and had no issues - worked fast and smoothly like it always does on Google Chrome (main browser I use).

Have you had some issues with it crashing on MS Edge?
