J-BusinessDirectory - Zip-code search issue

I can't get zip-code search to work. It returns all records, and if I apply a distance filter all records disappear (yes I've used a search that are certain to return at leat one record).

Further; I've chosen KM as distance unit instead of miles. If I click on distance filter, this particular filter is shown in miles.

Expected behaviour: I search by sip-code, system returns search result based on a default distance filter applied by the system, user should be able to change it.

I believe I've seen a reference to a new release previous week - any news on that?

When searching after zipcode all business listing are shown with the possiblility of filtering the results by distance.

Some of the zipcodes are used in more than one country and google maps return several possibilities. We always get the first one. You can check that on your map by locating the yellow marker.

The problem with miles is caused by an untranslated string. We have fixed that in the next version.

The next version is not out yet, we are still working on some improvements.

Hi, OK I understand how you intend zip code search to work - I verified that all listings are shown correctly on map, it looks OK, so it isn't Google Maps being confused - anything else I can look for? If it can't be resolved, is there any weay to disable the zip code search so I can use only area filter?

Currently you can disable the zipcode from search module settings. It is not possible to disable the zipcode search and use the limit area functionality.
