JHotelReservation Forum - FE Operating Problem

Hi!

I am trying to understand the working capabilities of this nice extension in order to possibly purchase it, but I suppose that due to the newest version of the MYSQL that I use, the FE is not working properly. Specifically, I enter the days range that I want to check the room availability, but after pressing the "Check Availability" button, an error page returns with the following message:

#1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'OPTION SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1' at line 1 SQL=SET OPTION SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1

Another minor BE problem that I found is that I cannot change currency in the currency settings of the component, but without displaying any error message.

Note that I have instaled the JHotelReservation component in a fresh Joomla 3.3 installation with Beez3 template.

Thank you for your input.

Some MySql versions don't support the BIG_SELECTS option. It can be taken out without any impact on the functionality. Please send us your Joomla and FTP login via the contact and we'll remove the  BIG_SELECTS option. 

The currency is set at hotel level, the Currency settings allows you to manage the currency only.
