JHotelReservation Forum - How does work credit card payment

Hi, At first sorry for my bad english.

I'm interested on this component but i need to now how works credit card payment.

I mean, i've created several online shops, and credit card paymen connects with a TPV (bank gateway). 

In fact, there several payment modules for each distinct TPV (bank gateways). 

I need if credit card payment it would work with my bank, for example, or how it does works really.

We can integrate any payment processor as long there is documentation in english and there's API available.
Once we have that we can analyze it and provide you with a quote.

Hi Patan, 

We had a look and it seems you're using the authorize.net processor without a valid username and transaction key. Did you signup for a merchant account?

It appears the previous page with credit card options, after filling customer details and credit card details. Please advice how can I change authorize.net processor with a valid username and transaction key or where I get the info therefore to solve this problem?

How can I change/create the authorize to use the credit card option. I would like to receive the credit card details of customer only for reservation and in case he does not pay by cash after stayed in the hotel, we should be able to charge him via credit card. The credit card details should be at first only for our safety.

You're welcome. 

If you want to only get the credit card details from your customers you should use the Offline Credit card processor. You don't need the authorize merchant account. 

To setup the offline credit card processor simply create a new processor and set the type field with the value: offlinecreditcard 

The rest can be set to whatever you like. Please find below an explanation of the process. 

1. The client inputs the credit card details in the reservation process. The credit card is not charged. The client would be on a secured page.  We recommend having a SSL certificate in place.
2. The credit card details are stored in the database for later processing. 
3. In the backend, when editing a reservation(Manage Reservations),  the hotel admin will be able to see the credit card details so that he/she can process them. 
4. After processing them the admin will be able to secretize the credit card details. This means that the credit card number will be transformed into something like this xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-1234, leaving only the last 4 digits available. This reduces the security risk involved in storing the credit card details.
