JHotelReservation Forum - jQuery.validationEngine rules are not loaded-

hello there,

i'm testing this j-hotel-reservation component for a hotel website and i had 2 main problems to be solved before i purchased the professional version.

first problem i had is that i can't edit the hotel info.  every time i try to edit and got below error message when saving it. but there is completely no prblem when tring to edit the room info.

second one is that since this booking system is used for one hotel only, can the search result be defaulted to show room availability only (not showing any pictures as i want a clean page to make reseration only)?  i try to close everything i can and remove all the pictures, but it still doesn't look so nice.

Hi Jojo, 

In regards to the first issue it seems that you have a javascript conflict. This doesn't impact the functionality as it is related to validation. We can have a look, please send us your Joomla and FTP login via email. 

In regards to the second question you can hide all the tabs and pictures from the application settings in the backend.

sorry i have another 2 questions about using this booking system.  i read the user manual and tried the online demo, but still can't find answers. 

first, i find the the Accommodation Type can be set as hostel and price can be charged per person.  can the booking system then be booked by person instead of by rooms?  so that, if a customer only book one bed in the dorm room at a hostel,  the rest of the dorm beds can still be avaiable for further booking.    

second is about the payment of wire-transfer.  if the customers pay after receiving the payment instruction, can they go back to the web and send a notice to inform the hotel about the payment (date/time/banking account/amount......etc)? then administration confirm the reservation through booking system after payment confirmed.  the free verion do not offer the payment function. and i can't neither find the client dashboard in the front-end, nor find the confirmed process in the back-end on the on-line demo.  the explanation how to proceed this payment process from you will be highly appreciated.

If you're setting up the reservation software for a hostel then you should setup beds as rooms as this is your booking unit.

In regards to the wire transfer, this payment method is available starting with the standard version. Normally clients would notify you by means of email or phone when a transfer has been made. There's no functionality in the hotel to do that. To confirm a payment simply set the reservation as paid in the Reservation section in the backend. 

To activate the client dashboard create a new menu item and as type select jhotelreservation->Client Dashboard.
