JHotelReservation Forum - [SOLVED] Translate BackEnd

Hi,

Is there a way to translate the backend ? My website is in french. The translation is ok in the frontend (not really ok, some sentences are weird, but I changed it that's ok), but the backend is still in english on JHotelReservation's pages.

I mean I set french for backend, that's work, but when I open a page of this component, everything is in english.

I don't understand why... (I set the french in the settings of JHR).

Any idea ?

Hi,

Usually when the language is not displayed correctly on back-end and another language is loaded (default in en-GB) there might be some issues in language file.

To check the language file you have to activate debug server and debug language from Joomla main configuration and access the component. At the end of the page there are some information about the language file loaded and the issues if lanugage file, if any.

I have no issue in the languages files, and I have this for the loaded files :

• **Not loaded** : JROOT/administrator/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_jhotelreservation.ini
• **Not loaded** : JROOT/administrator/components/com_jhotelreservation/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_jhotelreservation.ini
• **Not loaded** : JROOT/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_jhotelreservation.ini
• **Not loaded** : JROOT/administrator/components/com_jhotelreservation/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_jhotelreservation.ini
• **Not loaded** : JROOT/administrator/components/com_jhotelreservation/assets/language/.com_jhotelreservation.ini
• **Loaded** : JROOT/administrator/components/com_jhotelreservation/assets/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_jhotelreservation.ini

So it seems joomla/jhotelreservation don't search the file at the right place, but how can I fix it ?

Hi Kr, 

The Joomla language was saved per user and hence it wasn't loading the French language. We've cleared that and now French is loading. 

Let us know if there's anything else.
